how to fill kuksa

Really... how the hell is this done? i have tried EVERYTHING. pick it up with mouse right clicked, nothing droped it tred to lift it, nothing. I am at a los I am a new player.

Pick it up with left click and then right click a water source, be that shallow water (deep too if you are in a boat), a barrel of water, well, etc., then left click it back into inventory.

I'm standing in shallow water in the middle of a little tiny pond, i pick up the pot thing right click water and nothing happens. I click the blue im standing in.

I went further out and found more water, this worked. I have no idea. fun so far tho lol
