Mining is getting harder

Postby Kruzminator » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:25 am

Hey I have been mining a tunnel to get into other galleries I can see on the minimap. however for some reason I now struggle to mine through q10 granite and schist. I have 78 strength, 50 constitution, and a q25 pickaxe and I can only mine once or twice before I ran out of stamina

The tunnel has become fairly long. does that influence in any manner?

Mining hardness depends on the rock type, the layer you are in plus a value based on so called 'nodes', you might be mining towards the center of a hardness node :D

Thanks.

I am just on the first layer.

So it has nothing to do with the quality of the stones coming out in the process?

Is Granite the hardest type of rock?

Quality has nothing to do with it and I think crystal is harder than granite, but I don't know the exact values to compare...
