Inside table benefits?

Is there any reason why I should have my table inside my house? I like the idea of it being there but if it makes no difference as to whether or not it's inside or out than I'm not going to waste house space on it.

Well as table is close to the cupboards its easier to eat many stuff at once. Other than user-preference it doesn't have any effect.

You can place six cupboards along the table and and have them all open together with the table.
Doing that outside would have the downside that they could get hit by decay...
