Cave-ins vs walls who wins?

If I destroy some mine supports can I hope the cave ins will destroy some of my misplaced palisade?

No but you can hope you won't get koed (unlikely though)

Cave-ins shouldn't break objects that have soak. If they do it's a bug as far as I know :)
