Is it just more or are rabbits harder to hunt than in H&H 1? I can't seem to catch any on foot, and when I try to shoot at them with a bow, it usually flies over their head.

Run after them at full speed on grass terrain. Should catch most of them.

Wearing rabbit slippers actually boosts your run speed when you right-click on a bunny.
