Combat Weight

Does anyone know (who's willing to share) the math behind how combat weight works? With some brief testing between a character with 80 MC and a ~q40 bronze sword chopping at a character with UA of 125 while blocking with Zig-Zag and Jump. Supposedly this would be an attack weight of ~56 vs a defense weight of 250 and 125 respectively. Chop took about 70% (visual guesstimate so fairly inaccurate) of a fresh Zig-Zag and about 80% of a fresh Jump. Even if one were to assume there's a square root in there those two seemed way too close together to be either 2* or sqrt(2)* apart.

On the flip side Steal Thunder with a UA of 117 into an 80 MC Shield Up took 80-90% out. Which should be a 117 weight attack vs a 240 weight defense.
