Medical Guide

A guide on how to heal your wounds

When it sais "leeches". It refers to the fact that Leeches when equipped make certain wounds turn into leech burns which heal on their own


Gauze = 1x Wool : Uses Loom : First Aid is Required : Uses a Head slot
Stinging Poultice = 1x hide 2x string 3x Stinging nettle at cauldron : gives -3 STR -2 AGI while in effect
Stitch Patch = 1x cloth 2x String 1x Nugget of metal x2 Bone Glue : gives -10 STR -10 AGI -10 Charisma
Yarrow = Found on the ground
Cold Compress = 1x Cloth 3x Snow 1x string

Scrapes and Cuts : Yarrow or Wait
Nicks and knacks : Yarrow or just wait
Bruise : Wait and Leeches
Deep Cut: Stinging Poultice and Gauze
Fell Slash : Gauze
Concussion : Wait or Cold Compress
Asphyxiation : Wait
Leech Burns : Wait
Cruel Incision : Gauze or Stitch Patch
Blunt Trauma : Leeches or Gauze or Hartshorn Salve
Starvation : Eat food then wait
Wretched Gore : Stitch Patch
Unfaced : Leeches
Swollen Bumps : Cold Compress and Stinging Poultice
Severe Mauling : Hartshorn Salve
Nidbane Burns : Wait

you can use gauze and rootfills on deep cuts also

and isn't the hartshorn salve for converting severe mauling to blunt trauma, and converting blunt trauma to harthorn salved, which heals over time

What you described is Cold Compress: 1 Cloth, 3 Snow, 1 String

I believe, starvation penalty cannot be cured just by waiting. I am 9000% energy for almost 24 hours and my starvation penalty is still 70..

Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong?

It takes a long time but eventually it does go away.
