Fishing speed

Does fishing speed decreases over time?
It seems like now I'm fishing much slower than before I fished up 2,5 coffers of fishes. And I'm loosing a bait more often.
Could anyone confirm this? or its just a bad luck

maybe your fishing speed is the same but you just not fish up so many fishes?

I was fishing up one thing (fish or trash) per circa 2 tries. But now it seems like one try takes more time, and after ~10 tries I fished nothing (there were fished jumping over the water).

is it the same spot?
because fish has a population and are not so much 'infinite'
