badger vest and bat cape

I have two badger hides and some bat hides enough to make a badger vest and bat cape. But I wanna know what is so special about them. Do that make badgers not hurt me? Do bat capes make bats not attack? Anyone know?

Well, they're both gildable, they both give a little bit of armor, and the bat cape prevents bat aggro.

Badgers will still fuck you up, though. They have better eyesight and are not as easily fooled as bats.
