Getting my stuff from my dead character

died, found my fresh corpse, right clicking of corpse show only "steal" option.
Is there way to get my stuff without getting "Trespassing"?
will stuff "fall off" fro body then it become skeleton?
How fast body become skeleton?
will stuff get to my inventory then i bury it?

You should be able to loot your old dead body if you inherited from it. Else the items will drop when it decays into a skeleton in roughly 22 hours.

U should click on your character's grave in the creation "room", and choose "Inherit".
More interesting - how did u find your old body without inheritance?

using amber client so i found tile picture what with i was and then y current position, then i travaled long my last position...took me more then 6 hours irl.

so i need to wait 10 or more hours for my body to decay and then i can bury it for claim token and stuff..as i dont inherited from that character...

Create new, inherit. U will be spawned on dead character hearthfire. So it is a good idea to bring the corpse there with your current new alt.

Now u should build a Grave for him, wait till it turn into the skeleton, and bury him (both body and skull) to gain some % of his LP and stats.
