Actually, now that I've moved, it seems that 3 can be active at once. I had a fire going out-of-shot and that was preventing one of them from being lit. Still, for those of us hoping for torch-lit streets, it's kind of a let-down :<

Can't have more than 2 torches?

Are there only so many torches allowed to be lit at once? I'm trying to have 4 lit at the same time in separate torchposts but it will only let 2 be active at one time.

The game only supports three active light-sources at a time, yes. We want to improve on this, but it isn't entirely trivial.
