Make sausages?

Ok so I have scoured the wiki but have not found any info on how to make sausages yet. I have all the ingredients and a meat grinder, but what are the actual keys I need to hit to make the sausages? Do I need to discover the meat I'm using because I have not killed a deer yet but I am using venison. Pls help
