Hemp vs. Linen

Is there a difference between hemp and linen cloth other than the color? I'm trying to use less space and dont want to grow both crops if I don't need to.
Also, did hemp buds disappear from the game? Can't seem to collect any.
People say that I'm a coward for the way I hunt from a boat. Those same people ask me for leather and boar tusks all the time.

Hemp takes 6 fibre for making 1 cloth. Flax is taking 5 fibre. Hemp bud is harvested in stage before full growth.

In addition, the Wax-Impregnated Lining gild requiers specifically a hemp fiber, so if you're going to make high-q Exploration gear at some point you may still want to cycle a few tiles of hemp for that.
