level planting?

does the ground need to be level in order to plant certain seeds and crops?

no it doesn't, except for trellis crops. trellises have a flatness requirement.

well then, that's strange cause my poppy seeds will not plant on this furrowed ground.


any ideas why?


they in a bucket there are 100 of them and I just ran the hand plow over the track of land.

Edit: ok Very strange. I have to plant them a row away for them to begin. so if I have 3 rows going up and down, in order for the poppies to plant I have to click the middle row and they are planted on the left row. I'm using amber client so gonna go over then and see whats up.

The tile has to be plowed, the graphics of plowed land spread a bit into the areas around it so you might actually try to plan on unplowed land.
Maybe activate the grid overlay to see better what tiles you actually click, or restart the client in case it has a hickup?

When one can't tell plowed tile from unplowed one, it is wise to provide the most detailed instructions =)
