Rootfill/Recovering from Wounds.

Postby MrPunchers » Wed Jun 08, 2016 7:35 am

I have multiple Deep Cuts from being randomly mauled from Badgers, Bears, and Bats. What are the chances of getting Rootfill from removing stumps via Stone Axe. Is there a better way to recover from wounds? How to get said items?

strange roots are pretty rare. i remove 12 or so stumps every couple days and i've gotten like 2. better option would be stinging poultices or bandages.

Efficient way to get these? Stinging Poultices are expensive, and as of now, I do not fancy attempting to go near an Moulfon for wool. Maybe I'm just a skrub. :?

I'll assume it's the hide that's giving you trouble? Go punch-batting similar to bear blasting, as bats are extremely easy to find in very large quantities
Alternatively, catch some rabbits. Bunny slippers give a speed boost when chasing them

As far as I know mouflon never initiate fights. You should be completely safe to shear them

Clovered muffulon can safely be sheared without them getting aggressive.

To clarify, you must use a clover on a mouflon in order to shear one. Otherwise, you can't interact with them other than to attack.

Don't forget squirrels as a source of dried hide, too. Also easy to catch.
