Fyrdsman or Bronze?

Postby linkfanpc » Mon Jun 13, 2016 7:10 pm

I'm sure a fyrdsmans sword is better than bronze, but just to make sure, which is better?

Fryds usually, but depending on the quality of it, a high q bronze blade could certainly be better than a bad q fyrds.

We did some research like 2 months ago or so, and Bronze sword, surprisingly, appears to have higher base damage than Fyrdsman sword.

Do note, however, that the only tri-quality part that matters is Vitality. "10 10 80" sword is better than "200 200 79".

It's not surprising. It's always been the case that bronze gear of the same quality is better than wrought gear. As well, the vitality thing isn't true.

Isn't that article outdated? Would be nice to get a second opinion on the matter. We had tested several differently E/S/V'ed weapons of the same kind and noticed that the output always in sync with V parameter.

I am not 100% sure but i think substance determines damage, and vitality definetly attack weight

Dang, i already made it. It's quality is slightly higher than the bronze though, and it looks so freaking cool.

I hit a lynx qith it and it dealt 125 damage, while my bronze used to deal 135 to foxes and similar animals. It's a small change, and i may have hit a defense without knowing and it downed the damage, but i think the fyrdsmans sword should atleast do around 150-175 base damage.
