Clogs have carpentry. Hirdsman's Cape has melee combat.

Make sure you're not mixing up affinities and gild bonuses. I've made that mistake once, trying to find an item with affinity suitable for Hard Metal Rivets gild. Although the gild gives bonus to Carpentry and Melee combat, it has "Charisma" affinity (it's the icon(s) next to chance percentage that matters):
