Ok so me and my buddy found a wrecking ball and decided to use it on the wall it was placed on as it was a mining hole that was in an already abandoned and long since active claim. After we smashed the wall and checked the mine and came back we decided to just keep the wrecking ball to save materials instead of making it ourselves. Later we got back on the game an decided to break down this bases walls but when we placed down the wrecking ball next to the wall, it only gave the option to disassemble. I was just wondering, is there a cool down to it? if so I can't find anything about it and no error message pops up. Appreciate any help.

2 possibilities, either you placed it too far from the object, or you placed it backwards, the "wedges" on top when dis-assembled, are furthest from object to demolish, there is no cool down other than after assembled the 24 hour wait to use, when placed correctly, you should get 2 options, disassemble and wreck, even if just assembled.

Ahhh many thanks sir/madam , me and my friend didn't realize it was backwards and that you had to place it with your back towards the wall (and that it mattered that it was backwards or not)

can't u place wreckingball by clicking the thing when ur holding it and rotating it so it's correctly placed as well?
