New play just bought Yeomanry

Postby d4ns1923 » Mon Jun 20, 2016 10:36 am

Just bought Yeomanry and I do not have the option to stake a claim anywhere on any of the menu's I have looked on the wiki but that says adventure and then it should be there? Thanks for help :) also i wanted to see if anyone could tell me... does the world go on forever or does it get reset every year or something along those lines?

You need to discover the following: A Beautiful Dream, Stone, Bone Material and Block of Wood.

World resets are done when developers feel that they have to. Usually when they implement features that require new map to be generated, like the special resource nodes added this world.

I may have phrased it bit wrong, devs' policy is to only reset the world when they HAVE to. Safe bet is that next reset is at least months away.

After you get good at the game you will ask for resets, at they beggining they seem like a bad thing but in fact they're the best thing lol

The game is most exciting at the beggining of the world tbh but deleting worlds too early isn't good too.

Yeah I see why it can be a good and fun thing to reset the world :) as long as its around 4 - 6 months between each reset I really don't mind as its kind of like seasons and also stops people just building some gigantic villages but i bet that happens anyway :P

Think of it more as an RTS that takes place over months. Eventually, someone starts dominating, everyone gets bored, and people quit playing. A bit later, world resets with some new content. Some of the factions shuffle as people step down from leadership roles and locations change.

I'd love to see the worlds last until we all grow old and die, but there's a distinct lack of any real end game right now other than pvp.
