So I found this litlle fella hanging all alone in the forest, I brought him to my camp and ever since he's been very useful to me.
But I see that he has a saciety and welfedness meter, will he die if I don't feed him?

Yes, animal must eat for survive. Build a trough item and fill with nature's bounty crops and seed. You will want pen to keep this animal near the trough for eating.
