OK I HAVE TWO SILKMOTH AND I CAN'T FIND ANY MULBERRY TREE

DO THEY NEED MULBERRY LEAVES TO BREED? OR IS IT ONLY THE EGGS THAT NEED MULBERRY LEAVES??

SECOND OF ALL WHERE DO I FIND MULBERRY TREES? ON THE MINIMAP WHAT TYPE OF TERRAIN

THIRD OF ALL IS CUPBOARD GOOD ENOUGH FOR SILKMOTH

Male moth + female moth --> into a cupboard = ~5 eggs +-2 (no additional materials needed).
Eggs --> Herbalist table = Silkworms
Silkworm + Mulberry leaves (4 for each worm) = Silkworm Cocoons.

If you're using a custom client, there's usually an option to highlight particular trees, boulders or bushes at the minimap. Set it to highlight Mulberries and go traveling. There's quite a few biomes that can naturally have mulberry trees. 1 tree gives 250 leaves (a stockpile).

OH LORD WHEN I WAS GONE FOR A MINUTE THE SILKWORMS FUCKED THEIR GUTS OUT AND DIED LEAVING ME WITH 5 EGGS HOLY SHIT. IF I LEAVE THE EGGS FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS WILL THEY DIE OR CAN I WORRY ABOUT THEM LATER?

Eggs can be kept indefinitely, they won't hatch unless you put them on a herbalist table for 8 hours. And stop using all caps.
