How to give clover to wild boars

Well, the title says it all. So far i have been able to tame every other animal, since you can get really close to them and as soon as you right click the clover on them they take it instantly. but it seems impossible for me to give clover to these assholes without going aggro. Since i already have to do it from afar to avoid the aggro state, they do a little circling dance and a lot of staring and all that jazz. But they always end up going aggro. It has become a pain in the ass for me. I have tried feeding clover to 10 boars already and all of them go aggro. Is there a special technique to achieve this? or just pure luck?

Run up on them with inspect and immediately feed them a clover, sometimes you will still agro, most times you won't using this method

Seems like a good tactic, anyone tried beating them up with peace mode on and then giving them the clover when they are running or after they calm down from running? I cant take a boar head on, im not strong enough so i havent tried that.

Just tried that and worked like a charm, thanks people, i still think that going through this loop is a broken mechanic but oh well, development of this game is hard.

hello, can you explain action sequence?
i've tried give clever before and after combat - with no success.

There is no reason for boars to be toughest to tame animal. Mechanics of clover eating is broken for boars obviously.

Once battle have started you have lost your pig.
