Wild Horse

Do horses need to be tamed to ride now? I clovered one and roped but I can't right click.

No you should be able to ride it just fine, wild horses are the same as they've always been. Maybe it's because you had it leashed but I thought you could still hop on while leashing an animal, perhaps not though. Try dropping the rope if you have it leashed and then try again.
