Edit: Neither is it good enough to fight ants. Either that, or I really suck.
10-15 UA should better help you fight those nasty ants!

How much Agi and STR should I be shooting for when hunting a fox for example, with UC? How much with MC? Or Agi/Per for MM?
What about bats? Badgers? Boars? That's my question more or less, what is a safe stat range to fight each creature.
STR Only effects the damage you do with unarmed attacks, and you do not need that much to hunt in UA combat in my experience. However, you do need a lot of agility.
Agility decreases the time between your attacks, the more agility the faster you hit, and it also increases the time for whatever it is you're fighting to do its attacks.
I would rate agility to be the most needed stat for hunting.
UA increases the value of your UA defensive moves, some will take your UA value and multiply it by 0.8, and that will be the amount of damage your defensive move will absorb. The earlier defensive moves will have the block value of your UA, i.e no multiplier.
I highly recommend
Sevenless' guide, they've helped an awful lot of beginners to get into this game.
If you have any more questions, either of yous, feel free to PM me or post 'em here. If you're a hermit but need some combat practise you could perhaps make a post in the Sevilla trade forum and ask if someone would meet you there for a spar, or alternately, if you prefer, PM me and I'll spar you for some practise.
