1) When a character enters through a gate on one's claim, he gets visitor buff. He cannot commit any crime, he cannot kill.
But what if to shoot from the bow through opened gate? Does this kill?
2) Does travel of milestones work if path are put through the opened gate?

I think yes to both.

2)no. but you can travel then from the intermediate point of road (wayland buff).
also, be aware one can kill on foreign claim. But one cant aggro.
