Clover vs. Four-Leaf Clover

Postby bexy » Wed Jul 13, 2016 8:16 pm

I played legacy haven so this update has me a little confused, with little info on the wiki about it. I know that a 4-leaf clover is rare, randomly found when picking clovers. But is it still four leafs you feed to cows and sheep to get milk and wool without taming? Also, is taming a lot easier now? It seems to be from what I've read, but I haven't actively researched it yet.

Thanks!!

Taming is super easy. You only need some armor and a couple dozen points in UA.

You feed this animal regular clover to gain its favor without taming it now.

1) Four leaf clovers are valueable curiosities which no intelligent player would feed a cow or sheep that's the difference.

2) Taming is alot easier now. What you do is get a animal on a leash after feeding it a clover then hitch it to a hitching post. After that you aggro it and instantly click the picture at top-right of the screen that has 2 swords so that it has one sword and one reef. You then proceed to beat the crap out of the animal. For sheep you need about 30 Ua and 30 agi depending on your moveset. For horses and cows about double that depending on your move set. Basically if you can kill a boar in Ua combat you are good to tame.

wasnt such hard to block with building signs, collect ip and 5x quell the beast in legacy tbh, and u didnt have to repeat the process and log in that often so i would say that taming in legacy was easier tbh, but yeah new way of taming isnt a disaster too, u just have to find the time to log in more often, in legacy u could tame immediately and also u could tame whole herd without looking for em too long

four leaf clovers are slightly better than some of regular curios and very rare, so yeah study it instead of feeding to animal, but yeah, nothing super awesome too
plain ones have no other use than feeding animal, which allows u to make it:
-let u milk/shear it,
-leash it with rope
-leash it to hitching post with rope, which is usually used to tame the animal

You can use to ride a wild horse for a time too. It will buck you if pony power gets too low, so careful of this (some damage maybe knocking you out).
