How long does it take a Bwall to rot away?

Postby cyrus9586 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 7:46 am

In my travels I found a few places that have Bwalls rotting away. Influence gone etc. Tried to build a ram...Siegecraft got it. Tried to say screw it and try a WB, stolen, Tried another WB with a pali around it, broken and stolen. Said screw it wait for it to rot I guess. But can't find any info on how long it takes for it to rot. So yea how long?

Decay is only calculated when the map loads due to someone entering the region. Frequently visiting the area will help. Beyond that, I'm not sure anyone knows. I've seen a decaying palisade standing after two months. I'm sure a brick wall will be at least that long.

As a suggestion, build the palisade first. As long as there's a corner there that hasn't been destroyed, you can rebuild it. Once it has set and built up soak, then put the siege equipment in there (wrecking ball or otherwise). If there's nothing in the palisade, nobody is likely to screw with it unless they think someone might not get to open the piƱata first.
