Horse Taming

So I have three questions about horse taming.
1. Can you actually tame a horse?

I have had mixed answers to this, yet the sources that said I could gave no instructions.

2. What are the benefits of taming a horse?

Can I ride it indefinitely or does the amount of time depend on its quality?

3. What stats do I need to tame one?

I really need this so I can tame one.

Domesticated horse can ride on 2nd speed indefinitely, on 3rd for a while. After it's pony power is low you'll have to wait 'til the horse transforms some of it's satiety into pony power. Until that it can only move on 2nd speed. It won't ever drop you down unless attacked, unlike wild horse which will drop you down if it's pony power is low.

There are 3 unique stats a domesticated horse has - Endurance, Stamina, Metabolism. I believe, ENdurance affects maximum pony power, Stamina - how fast Pony Power is spent, and Metabolism - how many units of Satiety is consumed to replenish Pony Power. However, the information on these stats and their effects is inconsistent, so it may not be precise.

if it has really shitty stamina even at 2nd speed the pony power change might be negative after some time i remember that i had pony power at less than 25% sometimes with horses which had like 10 - 15 stamina and when its below 25% they walk with 1st speed, but it always happned when i used em a lot at 3rd speed

It depends on your move set. I know i was taming a horse with 50 agi and 25 melee BUT i had parry and shield up and i didn't even have to attack i could just tame it with parry. I think if you are using the original move set you should have like 50 agi and 50 UA
