Filling up energy bar

Hello, i am about to do second quest "something to eat and drink" and i'm stopped in step to fill my energy bar. Its about 5000% to fill up, its a huge amount to get from fruits (as single berries gives you 15% of energy). Is it bug or there is another way to get energy at first levels?

Get materials for making a fishing rod, then fish at spots in rivers where fish are jumping. Cook the fish, and it's an easy source of meat early-game.

Otherwise, catch randomly-spawning chickens, rabbits, and squirrels for meat.

You can also raid anthills, but that requires a few combat skills/higher combat stats than what you start off with.

find frogs and make frog legs or use rat on sticks because they both give alot of energy.

this is probably best energy source at the very start. Stats boosted by frog legs are quite useful at the start too.

You guys are great! I catch a lot of rabbits and frogs, and found some pumpinks. Also these ants hurt me so badly but im at Healing state because of food so its good


I have another question. Is there a some kind of sleeping beds? I remember that when I play here about 6 years ago(omg ) there was some simple bed from pine tree leafs but now i cant build that and dont know why :/ this is my list of skills that i learn so far:

Yep, but rats are quite rare when you are looking for it. Frogs have more solid supply.

There are stuffed beds only atm. Also when you will actually need one you will be able to craft it.

Ants are really easy as long as you know the proper combat tactics. Here let me explain. First things first find your Martial Schools tab and set all your combat cards to 1. So it will look like this

Punch 1/5
Left Hook 1/2
Sidestep 1/3
Jump 1/3
Quick Dodge /13

Then before engaging them in combat set your run speed to second speed(you should be able to outrun the ants at this speed) Aggro them one at a time.
Step 1: Start running from them
Step 2: Put up defenses (Just keep up quick dodges and sidestep)
Step 3: Turn around and Hit it with Left Hook or Punch (either one works its really a matter of preference.
Step 4: Repeat Step 1

If you do this properly you can beat ants indefinately without having a single point into UA or Melee
