I'm wondering where the best paces to get mc combat moves are from. I know what animals give what moves, but do any animals have a higher chance of getting any moves?
I only have unarmed moves rn.

I do not know if any one has specific number for rate of chance of move per creature. Do note that you will need to be able to cast move in order to get it. If move requiring sword to cast, you must have sword equipped to discovery it. Similar for IP costs, you must have enough IP to spend to cast move in order for discovering. So just sit and spam defense/take aim with sword and shield on animal for some time, if getting no discovery kill it and go to other animal. This is strategy I am using.

You can get chop by equiping a stone axe and using take aim to get 10 ip. Do this to ants and just find a nest and mass kill them until you get chop. Afterwards you will need a sword to get sting and storm of swords and parry and you can get shield up from ants by merely having a shield in your hand while fighting them. To get cleave you need to have a sword or axe and fight a bear. I think you need like 20 plus ip in order to have a chance to get it.
