I leveled up a point in exploration but it's still 1 and red

It says that something is taking away from my exploration, but i took off everything I was equipping and it's still 1. How do i fix this?

There doesnt seem to be a debuff on me. How do I check?

Check the Wounds tab in your character sheet.
