Do i get pearls when boiling mussels or do I also need to eat then?

When you boil a mussel you have chance of getting pearls. Pearls are quite rare though. You might have to build hundreds of mussels to get even one pearl. You cannot accidentally eat pearl. It appears as a separate item in your inventory if there is space available.

yeah but collect like 30 cupboards and u will have usually slightly less / more than needed for pneck, thats one day of work

I managed to get a pearl with just an inventory full of mussels..though it was my first time..mostly just that little tricky fate factor that dabbles in everything.
