Sketches

Postby Boas » Thu Jul 28, 2016 1:23 pm

Hello, I'm Boas. I played H&H long ago, when everything was sprites, and have only been on W9 for a couple weeks. This is my first forum post.

One of the things that drew me back was hearing that you could import your own emblems into the game and put them on your stuff. I've been playing alongside a friend, maintaining our little hermitage and slowly advancing, with the idea that we'd soon have the resources to start sketching and putting cool designs on shields and capes and shit. So I was kind of miffed when, after gathering all the pigment materials and putzing around in Photoshop for much of a few days, the game told me I needed 93 psyche to put one of my new designs on a sketch. All the reading up I did never told me about a stat requirement. 93 psyche is a lotta cave bubbers for lil' ol' me.

I made a simpler sketch just to get the discovery and had no problem, so I guess the psyche requirement depends on the complexity of the sketch. My question is, if I get a sketchbook (either from the store on this site or from finding a rainbow pad), does the psyche requirement still apply? If so I may as well wait and see if I can pump my psyche. If not I might consider dropping a few bucks. Also, do the other image-bearing items like the tabard and heraldic cape have gilding slots?

Thanks,
Boas

As far as I am knowing, this psyche requirement is not apply for paid sketch.

Sketchbook Pages allow you to create Masterpiece Sketches, thus saving you the trouble of having to gather materials for your creations, and allowing you to create arbitrarily complex patterns!
