Anyway to remove Pclaims?

Took over a village. Sadly there are many Pclaims from now inactive people. I want to clean them out. Any way I can do this without waiting for them to rot? A good 90% of the space is boarded up with claims from some I have never even met and I've been here for about a month and a half.

Okay firiring at it with a pult only is only damaging my villages claim now. I mean is there a way to get rid of this stuff without harming my village? These people are inactive etc but the claims precede the village claim.

Use your authority to revoke the claim. it must be the lawspeaker (I don't recall if the right is assignable or not; not on the wiki). This is what authority is for.

All it tells me is this claim precedes the village claim. I am lawspeaker of the village and cant get rid of them or break the walls without having to drain the shield. Forgot to add the village was made with claim a plot then the banners were placed after the spots were claimed. I think the answer is either destroy banners and then do it or have most of the space taken up and made unusable by claims of inactive people. At first I liked the idea that pclaims cant be overridden by villages but now im starting to see its kind of a pain in the ass when trying to bring life back into the village.

Once the claims run out of presence, you should be able to break them by hand instead of using siege equipment. This might mean waiting another 30-60 days, and that's assuming the owners are inactive the whole time or don't refill the claim presence.

This change from legacy has its perks and downsides. this is its major downside as most villages started off as a personal claim first, then the village was build on top of it.
