Abandoned settlement..

Postby FictionRyu » Sun Aug 07, 2016 7:24 pm

I'm looking to get into this abandoned settlement, I'm pretty sure it's abandoned since the walls and some of the stuff inside all have some percentage of decay on them and the claim has no presence to it anymore.
So, I was wanting to get into it but I wanted to get some information..I can only create a WBall currently, due to not having any nearby resource of brimstone for a ram. I was wondering, how fast could I bring down the walls if I have 30 STR and the wall segment I'm looking at is at 75% ?

I know there's a 24-hour dry time on the WBall once made, and I don't really expect it to come crashing down with just swing of the wrecker, I imagine it'd take quite a bit to bring it down...

So, with 30 STR and the wall segment is at 75%, what kind of damage am I looking at?

Static 40 dmg for wrecking ball pali is 30 soak so probably less than 5 minutes.

Less than 5 minutes, more like 2, I did exactly the same not that long ago, set the WB against the gate, when it goes down it'll take the cornerposts with it (most likely) you can rebuilt it and install your own key. You'll have a satellite base or at the very least time to strip the place without any hassle.

Wow. That's a-lot easier than I thought. Guess when I get the time I'll go scavenge the place. Thanks for the answers!
