How to gild item?

I have nettle shirt 10ql "chance to gild 5% to 25%" how to do it?

You have to craft a gliding, I would reccomend Taproot Lining for early game for Survival (or if you can get Leather Patch), take the gliding and right-click the clothing you want to glid, the first glid will be 100% chance, while subsequent attempts have a chance of failing depending on the clothing, gliding, and your skill.

Ok thanks, so when I can attempt second time? I need skill or I need better items than spruce hat/nettle set?

You would need a different glid to put on, however, the chance at low levels, especially when the attributes don't match up, is extremely low, and I wouldn't count on attempting a second glid.
And remember, you can equip 2 nettle shirts and pants.
