Maybe you missed our collection of important "How Do I?" threads: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51565
There's just too many to keep them all stickied, so a collection is better.

Since the satiations are getting multiplied, having even one of them at a very low level will stop you from gaining any FEPs from associated food (1*1*1*0.15 = 0,15. Your food will only be 15% effective).

ah true, although it still seems a bit off.
.5 (200%) (30% bonus from verified) (.81*.98)
.5(2.3) (.81*.98) = .91287 where as I was getting .96
Much closer though. and as a note, no table or chair involved

Verified bonus is 20%, not 30%.
Moreover, verified bonus is a multiplicative one, thus the formula should have looked:
food's base FEP * Food efficacy bonus * food satiations * verified bonus
0,5 * 2 * 0,81 * 0,98 * 1,2 = 0,95256
The number isn't 100% precise due to the fact satiations are displayed rounded while they are being used without being rounded. E.g. real satiation may be 81,4%, or 81,2% and 98,2% etc.
