When should i stop increasing Exploration?

Postby BetrayalAtK » Sat Aug 20, 2016 5:20 pm

If im not mistaken, on old haven there was a limit in how much your exploration affected discovery of random items, and there was no point on increasing exploration beyond that since it wasnt going to make more items appear on your radar. I know that some craft uses exploration, but right now im just concerned on discovery on my hunter/gatherer character.

So, is it still the same as old haven?, is there a point in exploration where its enough to discover every forageable item? or does higher exploration stat affects your chances of triggering rares on your radar?

Exploration is not really worth it.
If you want to see ALL scents I'd recommend rising exp as much as you can.

But for foraging something like 40-60 is probably enough.

Assuming you also have some perception.

Exploration is best if you're the dedicated explorer of your group. It's best to level up early on as an investment.

Otherwise it kinda sucks compared to survival. Survival is overall way more useful and you can craft curios with common materials rather than searching the map

Plus raising perception does the exact same thing as exploration. The only attribute that goes with survival crafting is psych which is the hardest stat to get
