Clothing Quality?

Postby spospospo » Tue Aug 30, 2016 6:07 pm

Hey everyone,

I was if wondering if there is any point in making high quality clothing(non-armor). Quality doesn't seem to affect gilding chance or anything.
So, does anyone know if it affects anything at all?

Cloth quality does not influence chance but it affects the stats of the gilding you are putting in. if you have a 17Q nettle shirt and try to put a very good lacing, you will see the bonus dropping a substancial amount.

Therefore, if i-m not mistaken ofcourse, yes there is a point where highQ cloth is handy when handling highQ gildings :P

The quality of the clothing softcaps the quality of the gild you're trying to place. A q70 gild being placed in a q10 shirt would only end up at q40. You'd be losing about 30% of the potential bonus.
