Trading what?

Ok, i was wondering about trading in the game and found that except for some (maybe) high-end items i think, as an hermit i can't find any item i can trade for, and instead i may have some items that could be traded.
So, what items do you trade for as a low to middle level player with other players, and why?

Read through the "Apple & Oranges" forum for ideas of what people want and what they'll usually give for it. Otherwise, if you can get to one of the markets, there are stall set up there. I only know of the one near the center of the map, and if you don't have the means of fast travel (village and a charter stone) it may be a long trip for little return.

Try to make acquaintance with neighbors and find out what they could use. Not everyone posts on the forums or would normally go searching for trades.

I had some neighbors around but generally they stay around for little time, then they quit. I was thinking about what i could put in a barter stand for players that get to my place and may find something useful: this is the easy part, but what is not easy is to find something to trade off with them...
If coins would be more easy to get (i may make some soon, but ppl won't have 'em if they not buy/trade from me...), this part will be far more easy to get trough.

Coins are always an easy thing to trade with. At worst, they can be smelted back into bars. Anything else is going to be knowing what your neighbors want when they come around.

i might have found a couple items i can ask for even to noobs to make some coins flow around for buy/sell, like ants (no curio) and worms to fish with, wool, stinging poultice and maybe some more. We'll see, right now i'm building my brick wall around my area and preparing for my third stone tower, i still don't like the desing of those i've made up now
