Sting?

I've fought multiple Boars and Foxes (wiki claims you get sting from them), and never got Sting. Every other attack I've gotten extremely easily, yet this one is bricking me. Do boars and foxes drop Sting? Is my method just bad?

Boars and foxes for sure give it. You could try using a boar spear too. I've gotten it with a both of them, not sure if there is a difference.

Thank you for the clarification, I'm using a sword, and I know that counts as pointed.

Thank you for the clarification, I'm using a sword, and I know that counts as pointed.

Just fight foxes, you still can pop skills to get the discovery, like spam take aim until u get a skill to discover and hope for sting. No other way. Why you can't get sting? Because you want it. #Haven. If you would be trying to get shield up, for sure you would already have like 5 stings...
