it means you're living under the realm claim but no oathed to it.

You are under a realm. If you had access to the realm management tab, it would look like this, similar to a village management tab:

Being oathed into a realm also grants access to its chat (also similar to how a village functions,) for those who are also oathed into the realm.

If the realm decides to build any buff structures (menhirs, grotesque idols,) their effects would appear in the kingdom buff slot.
