Feeding a clover to an aurochs..

I thought when you feed an aurochs a clover it will allow you to pull its hair peacefully..I just got my ass handed to me because this did not work that way. Did something change or was I just assuming shit?

It will eat the clover, then it will walk for a bit. Follow it until it stops, that means it's tamed temporarily, allowing you to pull some hair from it.

Ah. I did not know that. I figured it was like Legacy, where you fed it and in the same breath you could pull it.

Feeding a clover allows you to milk it once or leash it to take it with you.

AFAIK pulling hair always has a chance to cause aggression, but I have not tested that for a while.

I doubt it true. Maybe the chance gets smaller, but it still can agro, even when it's "temporarily tamed"

Unless it's been changed, this has always been the case. The clover may have some impact on the chance to aggro, but it doesn't negate it, as the question shows. (A clover had 0 impact in legacy on odds to aggro.)

You have to pull it from behind, this way you can always do it safely.
In legacy, you would also have to make sure that other aurochs don't face your direction while you're molesting a poor animal; didn't have a chance to check the last bit as I'm yet to see a herd.
