do you only get one chance per combat to learn a new move?

Title says it all. Ive never seen a 2nd discovery chance in a fight so far but it may just be bad RNG or im just impatient. I use 2 take aims and an attack and just spam take aim and wait for something to pop up. Any tips?

i think combat discovery system was changed like a couple of month age, and now you have only one chance per fight (enemy???) to get new move..

Did you end combat and reengage?

I've never gotten it more than once and I've had 3 characters

I just spam take aim from a boat. It seems that after the learning move connects I get none after that.

Maybe you can get more then one chance, but you are allowed to learn one skill per animal, no more. Sure info, before a lot of people along with my village where trapping an animal and learning skills on it by spamming take aim like mentioned in previous points or anything else. Now it's impossible. So 1 animal = 1 combat discovery. Maybe if you fail to discover it, then you have another chance, but if you could learn 2 skills from one animal, then you should report that as a Bug.
