Hi folks,

I was searching for a way to get shield up and melee cambat skills.
Latter is probably through combat discoveries, but the former should be given to the player upon equiping a shield, should it not?

No. You need to discover shiel up like all combat moves. The expection is that you need to have shield equipped to learn shield up.
