No xp gain for realms from new chars?

Did I miss some post, they changed it, or it's a bug that when I create new char, my realm isn't getting any exp from this alt?

You didn't miss anything, we are rarely given any information on new mechanics and this time was no different. Try checking again the next time you get the same event, this is intended to prevent new characters from feeding any auth in to the realm should they happen to receive any experience events upon spawning. You do receive an event from any resource within your render when you say, spawn a character from a charter stone. However I'm not sure why this applies to all types of events, perhaps some programming issues that prevent loftar from directly targeting those specific events.

Mostly just because it seemed nicer to be consistent. It's not just resources; some other experiences can also be had fairly deterministic, and so imposing a categorization between the two seemed ugly and arbitrary.

Yeah, well I was watching the authority meter while making new character and I'm pretty sure I got like 1,5k authority from it, for first lore, localized resource and some other cheap lore. Now when I tried it, nothing is working, so I got confused.

You should give them another look once in awhile too there is no mention of how it works for new characters in the thread.
