Log Out and Fast Travel

What's the negative effect on fast travelling back to your hearth fire? I remember in the old version you did get a debuff that you could only remove by sleeping, what's the negative effect here? Also, what's the difference between logging out and closing the client?

If you log out and wait for hourglass, your character instantly leaves game world.
But if you only close client your character will remain in world for duration of that hourglass.

I'm pretty sure there's no penalty for tping to your hearthfire anymore. Even if there is, I never noticed it as opposed to old haven.

There isn't. The only way to get travel weariness now is travel via charter stones.
