I trapped a Dryad, now what?

I managed to get a Dryad to enter one of my small palisade, it's trapped now, will it just despawn or stay there forever?

I would try to block it in a corner and see if you can get it to stop moving and then see what can be done.

I did, all it does is bounce on things really fast, kinda spins around, you just cant completely stop it

It might be the only dryad in the world!
Keep it there and charge for people to look at it.

You must conduct tests with it!
Maybe its presence even has some effects?
Have you tried crafting various things around it?

No I didn';t try anything...
It is gone now anyways, as soon as i went one map square away and came back, it had despawned.

This is the 2nd time Ive seen it trapped and the 2nd time someone only went through the effort of capturing it but not testing.
