How do I trade?

I have not played in quite some time - and not since the new 2.0 version came out at all. I've forgotten a lot of the basic stuff and particularly can't remember what I'll need to be able to trade? Is there a link to help on this or posts/threads that already address this that I can read - tried searching and came up with hundreds of results - mostly just containing some form of the word "trade" and not related to the topic of "how to trade".

this is what i do i get on alt load up and run to meet who ever i tradeing with and trade face to face, or barter stands

That much I know, and I know to use a trading HS to get to a particular trader, village - but don't I have to have some way to get the alt back to my main or my hermitage? That's the part I'm not remembering what to do/how I go about it...

Sevilla is a pretty big trading hub where lots of people meet, and you only have to walk there once. Your first time there, touch the charterstone and you can then teleport there using another charterstone or portua (10 dreams, 20 stones, 6 metal).

You do need some decent charisma to increase teleport distance, but it's a pretty easy stat to get. Best of luck!
