You must've relocated a great distance since you got the quest. Abandon the quest and a closer one will replace it in 5 or 10 minutes. I have 6 or 7 quest points within 15 minutes of my HF. If you're clever, you can complete many at once. I once had 3 require the raiding of an anthill, and I then collected 3 rewards in a 10 minute hike.

So far I abandoned 3 quests and all I got was "visit ???" back again, didn't know there are different quests. Thanks for advice

Quests are random and send you to random parts of the area.

Apparently they are not so random because I already got like 6 new "Visit this" quests and I can't get any other

Yes, they all start that way. Visit that location and complete the objective(s), normally that will lead to a follow-up quest and a branch for a new quest line. I have had 5 or so such branches, which is why I have 6 or so quest points around. But none are hours away. Well, my first one was over an hour away because my group relocated and I still had the old quest point. But once I cleared my quests, then new ones popped up much closer.

It really is an easy way to reduce hunger.
